Do this one Thing to Move Forward
As a Health Professional who was asked to do some things that I did not agree with over the last 3 years, here's what I think we need to do to move forward...
The Answer to the scary trend of “Over-Governing” that is moving forward around the world.
Hello all. My name is Dan T, and I am a health care practitioner in Canada. Obviously, we the people, have to make some changes to our daily lives in order to minimize the risk of future problems that may come down the road. In order to avoid the negative outcomes that come either because of unintended consequences or even intended ones, whichever camp you come from, I think we can all agree that something has to change. Obviously, we have very little control over political agendas and even less over global ones.
The people who seem to have done best over the last 3 years are those who are doing everything within their own God-given power to improve the things that they ARE IN CONTROL of in order to improve their lives and outcomes.
The Last 3 Years that Shall NOT be named...
Without question, there was a lot of stuff that happened over the last 3 years. We’ve all had to deal with tremendous stress, significant changes, and even loss, as well as anger and frustration with seemingly well-meaning and maybe even some not-so well-meaning colleagues, legislators, and fellow citizens, who were all going through similar versions of the same high-stress lifestyle.
At this point, things have changed in most places. However, there is a group of people, especially within healthcare, that are perplexingly trying to keep things the same as during the last 3 years. As is often the case, if you follow the money, this will inform you as to why these people are clinging to ridiculous and ineffective, possibly damaging measures/policies.
Lessons that We can Benefit from...
As with any negative situation, it's critical that many lessons can and should be gleaned from the events of the past 3 years, otherwise, we will be doomed to repeat the situation at some point in the future. Depending on your personal experiences, you may disagree, but I am presenting here for you the top common lessons that I think we would all benefit from learning over the last 3 years.
Top 10 Lessons Learned
There is absolutely no magic bullet or cure for any major issue, be it a “disease” or “climate threat”, etc.….
Prevention is always a better strategy.
We need to defend and protect and promote the right to free speech, open debate, and discussion.
Most people act in their own selfish interests - most human beings are absolutely not Martyrs - and policymakers are easily influenced by power and money.
People that virtue signal the loudest are often the least virtuous.
Health Professionals need to do a better job understanding health and medical research and be skeptical about protocols that are promoted from the top down and defy logic.
Fear, anxiety, and loneliness are the main weapons that were used to modify our behavior over the last 3 years.
We, the people of the West are responsible to know REAL and complete history. Although the technology is new, most of everything we have faced is NOT new but rehashed from the past.
As a population, we in the West must never allow laws or mandates to be implemented that restrict our personal rights & freedoms in any way, because these rights and freedoms are what made the West great!
At the first hint of “rules for thee, but not for me”, we, the people of the West need to non-violently resist unjust rulers.
These are the most common things that I and people I am close with have learned over from the last 3 years. Did you learn similar things? Comment below and let me know what if anything you’ve learned over the last 3 years.
So, we have to incorporate the lessons we’ve learned, to better serve each other and continue to promote and keep the free market, as well as our individual rights and freedoms.
Take care and God Bless.
